We're partnering with a well-established internet and connectivity provider in Kent to find a Solutions Support Specialist for their growing technical team.
This is a varied, customer-facing role that sits between technical support, solution delivery and pre-sales. You'll work directly with customers and internal teams across the full lifecycle - from helping scope and validate solutions at the sales stage, through to hands-on technical delivery and post-installation handover.
It's the kind of role that suits someone who has built strong technical foundations in a 2nd or 3rd line or advanced support environment and is ready for a step up - more customer interaction, broader scope, and real ownership of delivery. You don't need a formal pre-sales background. You do need to be technically solid and someone who communicates well under pressure.
What they're looking for:
- Experience in a 2nd line or advanced technical support role
- Strong networking fundamentals - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, NAT, firewalls
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network hardware
- Familiarity with broadband and fixed connectivity technologies
- Excellent communication skills - confident explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proactive, customer-first mindset
Desirable but not essential: presales or solutions experience, VoIP/SIP knowledge, vendor certs (CCNA, MikroTik, Ubiquiti), ISP or telco background.
