About the role

Movar Reply is seeking a Director of PMO & Project Controls to lead the growth, development, and delivery of our PMO and Project Controls capability. This role is fundamentally centered on leadership, business development and work winning.

Acting as a senior leader within the business, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, leveraging your industry network, and converting pipeline into secured work, while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services across client programmes.

This role combines strategic growth leadership with delivery oversight, positioning you as both a trusted advisor to clients and a key driver of Movar Reply’s continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver business development and work-winning activities, identifying and converting opportunities across key sectors.
• Leverage an established industry network to generate pipeline and build strategic relationships.
• Lead the development of proposals, bids, and client presentations, securing new work for the business.
• Act as a senior ambassador for Movar Reply, enhancing brand presence and market credibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Provide strategic oversight of PMO and project controls delivery across complex programmes.
• Ensure high-quality outputs across planning, cost, risk, reporting, and governance functions.
• Support mobilisation and leadership of major programmes and critical client engagements.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion within existing clients.
• Drive the development and evolution of Movar Reply’s PMO and Project Controls offering, including digital and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Mentor and develop senior consultants and future leaders within the business.
• Promote best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement across all delivery activities.
• Represent Movar Reply’s values and culture in all client and internal interactions.

Key Competencies:

• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to win work and drive revenue growth.
• Extensive industry network across infrastructure, utilities, or major capital programmes.
• Deep understanding of PMO and Project Controls disciplines.
• Ability to position and articulate integrated delivery and technology solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into tangible outcomes.
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and client engagement capability.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and inspire teams.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Significant experience in PMO and/or Project Controls leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or work winning within a consultancy or similar environment.
• Experience operating at senior leadership or director level.
• Strong track record delivering across major infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Experience in sectors such as water, infrastructure, nuclear, defence, or energy is highly desirable.
• Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Professional accreditation (APM, PMI, ICE, or similar) desirable.
