  • Lead on cyber-security protocols, backup regimes and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage secure access to email, files, and cloud services.
  • Monitor MSP performance to ensure alignment with agreed standards.
  • Provide hands-on training for staff on tools, systems, and best practices.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date user guides, FAQs and system manuals.
  • Support IT projects, from system migrations to infrastructure improvements.
  • Negotiate with external contractors and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage internal helpdesk system and ensure smooth coordination with the MSP.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years in a busy ICT role within a similar organisation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra, Intune.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with external contractors and MSPs.
  • Confident working independently and as part of remote and in-office teams.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Working towards or holding certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft.
  • Awareness of ICT trends, security best practices, and system optimisation.

Why Join Us?

At The Charity, we believe our people are our biggest asset. That's why we offer:

  • Remote and flexible working
  • 26+ days annual leave (plus bank holidays, rising with service)
  • 6.5% employer pension contribution
  • Strong focus on career progression - including funded training and mentoring
