Marketing Executive - Four day week but full time salary, Bristol/hybrid working

We’re working with a fast-growing financial SaaS business in Bristol, looking for a confident, hands-on Marketing Executive to join their small but mighty team. If you enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, engaging content and you like the sound of a four day working week this could be a great next step.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit commercial team where sales and marketing work closely together. Day to day, you’ll work with the team of two in marketing who set direction and priorities. As a current team of two, there’s plenty of room to get stuck in, shape campaigns, and try new ideas without layers of sign-off slowing you down.

The role is all about creating engaging, informative content that supports growth and drives sales. You’ll plan, write, and deliver campaigns across content, email, social, events, webinars, and partner channels. You’ll take strategy and sometimes complex financial or operational ideas, and turn them into simple, plain-English messages that resonate.

You’ll own delivery from first draft to final version taking on board feedback and continuously improving your work. You’ll also share performance and audience insights to help refine the wider marketing and growth strategy. Collaboration with sales is key, so you’ll be comfortable working closely with them to support commercial opportunities and understand what really matters to customers.

There’s also a great outward-facing element: you’ll represent the business at relevant industry events and webinars, so being personable, confident, and happy talking to people is important.

What are we looking for?

Someone with at least three years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally B2B. You’ll be a strong writer who can produce clear, concise content in plain English and adjust tone of voice where needed. You’ll be proactive, organised, and comfortable owning your work from idea to execution. You’ll also be confident working with senior stakeholders and able to balance creativity with solid delivery and follow-through.

You will live within commuting distance of Bristol, as this is a hybrid role, with at least two days a week in the Bristol office, plus occasional travel to London for events. Remember, the business operates on a four-day a week basis, so you work four days for a full-time salary.

Nice-to-have experience (not essential, but a bonus) includes B2B services, SaaS, or professional services; running paid ads on LinkedIn and Google; and basic design skills or familiarity with tools like Figma.
