Temporary 6–12 month contract (subject to review)
£12.71 per hour rising to £14.27 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 8:30am – 5:30pm)

Mpeople Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Contact Specialist to join a busy and supportive team based in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle incoming calls relating to technical queries and account issues
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Provide clear advice and guidance to customers
- Process payments securely over the phone
- Update and maintain accurate customer records on internal systems
- Proactively contact customers regarding account alerts
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of device-related issues
- Prepare and issue customer communications in line with GDPR requirements
- Carry out security checks during customer calls
- Maintain clear communication with customers and colleagues
- Close and manage alerts within internal systems
- Provide information to support reporting for management
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by your line manager
- Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment
- Confident using IT systems, including databases and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- A professional, flexible, and proactive approach
- Experience working to targets is desirable
