Role Overview

As an SDR at MyStories, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a key role in driving revenue growth. You will focus on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, booking meetings, and handing off high‐quality opportunities to the sales team. This position reports to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Actively research and identify potential customer prospects in defined target markets (e.g., retail, brand marketing, digital commerce).
  • Use cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and social engagement to initiate contact.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.

Qualification & Meeting Generation

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria (budget, need, authority, and timeline).
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives with key decision makers.
  • Effectively articulate MyStories’ value proposition and how it enhances in‐store shopper engagement. (stories.myplayer.io)

CRM & Reporting

  • Accurately log all activity, lead details, and qualification data in the CRM.
  • Track key metrics such as calls, meetings booked, opportunities created, and conversion outcomes.
  • Provide weekly reporting on pipeline health and progression.

Collaborate with Sales & Marketing

  • Support Account Executives during handover to ensure a smooth sales transition.
  • Communicate insights from customer interactions to Marketing for campaign optimisation.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 1–2 years experience in a B2B SDR or sales development role, bright graduates without experience considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in German or French (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency with CRM tools. (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Consultative and resilient approach to prospecting.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions clearly and confidently.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in SaaS sales, retail tech, or visual commerce solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern sales outreach tools (Sales Engagement Platforms, LinkedIn Navigator).
  • Knowledge of retail operations or shopper experience trends.
