We’re Hiring: IBM SAN Storage & Backup Admin (Health Sector Project) 🚨

We are looking for an experienced IBM SAN Storage & Backup Administrator to join a high-priority transformation project within the healthcare domain. This is a critical transition from an existing vendor to a newly formed senior technical team.

📍 Location

Candidates can be based in:

• Leeds
• Birmingham
• Manchester

🧭 Work Model

• Hybrid: 1–2 days onsite (based on location)
• Initial transition phase requires onsite presence in Warwick
• Travel expenses will be covered during transition

⏳ Contract

• 1 Year (renewable)
• Immediate joiners required due to project urgency

💡 Primary Skill (Must Have)

• Strong expertise in IBM SAN Storage (10+ years experience)
• Lenovo NAS
• Brocade Switch administration

⭐ Secondary Skill (Good to Have)

• IBM Backup experience (IBM Spectrum Protect / TSM)
• Prior IBM environment exposure preferred

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage IBM storage platforms (provisioning, zoning, replication, upgrades)
• Administer IBM Spectrum Protect backup environment
• SAN fabric management (Brocade/Cisco switches)
• Handle DR drills, migrations, and capacity planning
• Provide L3 support for critical storage & backup incidents
• Create SOPs, documentation, and automation scripts (Bash / Python / PowerShell)
