Role Overview

We are seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager to lead the end to end planning and execution of the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere workstream within a fast paced, time and budget constrained transformation program. This role orchestrates cross functional teams to deliver actionable, enterprise grade analytics across Finance, Procurement, HR, Expense integrating SAC and Datasphere with S/4HANA and Azure Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership & Planning

• Own the SAC and Datasphere workstream scope, plan, and delivery roadmap aligned to program milestones.

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts; manage critical path and stage gates.

• Define clear deliverables (dashboards, data models, semantic layers, integrations) and acceptance criteria.

Scope, Change & Governance

• Establish and manage scope baseline; control change via structured impact assessment and CAB/PMO governance.

• Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards.

RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

• Proactively identify and manage RAID; maintain RAID logs and drive timely mitigation and escalation.

• Track cross workstream dependencies with S/4HANA (Finance, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur) and Azure Fabric.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Engage business stakeholders and end users to confirm priorities, benefits, and release plans.

• Run effective steering committees, working groups, and sprint ceremonies; deliver concise status reporting (scope, schedule, budget, risks).

Team Leadership & Vendor/Partner Management

• Coordinate internal teams (functional, data, security), external partners, and near/offshore resources.

• Manage vendor deliverables and SLAs; resolve resourcing gaps and optimize team throughput.

Technical Oversight (Non Hands On)

• Partner with Solution Architects and Data Leads to ensure fit for purpose designs for SAC dashboards, planning models, and Datasphere data models/semantic layers.

• Oversee data pipeline readiness, data quality controls, and performance targets without direct development.

Quality, Testing & Release Management

• Define and execute test strategy for analytics (functional, performance, regression, security).

• Plan releases and cutovers; coordinate UAT, training, and documentation; ensure smooth hypercare and handover to BAU.

Financial Management & Benefits Tracking

• Manage workstream budget, forecasts, and variances; ensure cost controls and vendor invoicing accuracy.

• Track and report delivery outcomes against KPIs and expected business benefits.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing delivery of analytics/BI programs, with specific focus on SAC and SAP Datasphere in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of S/4HANA program delivery and data integration patterns across Finance, Procurement (Ariba), HCM (SuccessFactors), and Travel (Concur).

• Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi vendor projects under tight timelines and budgets.

• Solid command of RAID management, scope/change control, and PMO governance in hybrid Agile/Waterfall settings.

• Practical knowledge of cloud analytics architectures and data platforms (e.g., Azure Fabric/data lakes) to guide delivery and risk decisions.

• Proficiency with delivery tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps/Jira, MS Project/Smartsheet) and executive reporting.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills; able to translate business priorities into clear delivery plans.

• Experience coordinating testing, release management, and stabilization/hypercare for analytics solutions
