Technical Project Manager (London Area)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Project Manager with a strong background in Duck Creek Technologies to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex Duck Creek implementation and transformation programs. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of P&C insurance products , deep knowledge of Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights) , and proven experience managing Agile and hybrid delivery models.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Duck Creek implementation and integration projects.
  • Own project planning, execution, delivery, and post-go-live support phases.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, Duck Creek product teams, development teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and risks, ensuring delivery meets business goals.
  • Oversee configuration, development, and integration of Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims, Producer).
  • Conduct regular sprint planning, retrospectives, and delivery progress reviews using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across geographies (onshore/offshore).
  • Act as the key escalation point for delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business, IT, and Duck Creek specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in insurance tech environments.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • 10+ years of experience in IT project delivery; 4+ years specifically in managing Duck Creek programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Duck Creek Suite – especially Policy, Billing, and Claims .
  • Experience with Duck Creek Author, Express, and API integrations .
  • Experience managing complex technology programs in Property & Casualty insurance domain .
  • Proven experience delivering projects in Agile/Scrum , Hybrid , or Waterfall environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), DevOps, and cloud deployment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with Azure/AWS , API/Microservices , and data migration strategies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, PRINCE2 , or equivalent certifications.
  • Duck Creek certifications (if applicable).
