Maintenance & Operations Engineering Apprentice
We are recruiting for a Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician to join our current team. You will be trained to be competent in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of a diverse range of industrial equipment including CNC saws, automatic handling systems, laser cutting machines, gantry cranes and much more.
Role
Daily preventative maintenance, servicing and parts replacement including:
- Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding and repairs
- Programming of automated systems
- Machine moving and installation
- Welding and fabricating
- Crane operations, safety and awareness
- Communication
Training
- This Apprenticeship will give you the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work as Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician
- You will attend York College on a day release basis
- The qualifications achieved upon completion of the apprenticeship are Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Level 3, plus Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Diploma Level 3
- Upon successful completion you will have attained the skills and knowledge to be able to pursue a full-time career as part of our dedicated Engineering team and have the fantastic opportunity to continue studies to degree level and beyond
