DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps/TFS Migration)

£650-£725 per day
We're currently recruiting for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a transformation programme within a well-established London-based financial services organisation.
This role will play a key part in migrating Legacy Team Foundation Server (TFS) environments to Azure DevOps Cloud, helping establish modern DevOps practices and driving the adoption of CI/CD across the technology estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from Team Foundation Server (TFS) to Azure DevOps Cloud
- Configure and administer Azure DevOps environments
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Support the adoption of DevOps best practices across development teams
- Build and optimise release and deployment pipelines
- Work closely with Development, Infrastructure and Architecture teams
- Improve automation, deployment processes and software delivery
- Provide technical guidance throughout the migration programme
- Produce supporting documentation and knowledge transfer
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience migrating TFS to Azure DevOps
- Strong Azure DevOps administration and configuration experience
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent understanding of DevOps principles and software delivery practices
- Azure Cloud experience
- Experience with Git version control
- Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Bash)
- Experience working within enterprise environments
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
