DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps/TFS Migration)

£650-£725 per day

We're currently recruiting for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a transformation programme within a well-established London-based financial services organisation.

This role will play a key part in migrating Legacy Team Foundation Server (TFS) environments to Azure DevOps Cloud, helping establish modern DevOps practices and driving the adoption of CI/CD across the technology estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from Team Foundation Server (TFS) to Azure DevOps Cloud
• Configure and administer Azure DevOps environments
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Support the adoption of DevOps best practices across development teams
• Build and optimise release and deployment pipelines
• Work closely with Development, Infrastructure and Architecture teams
• Improve automation, deployment processes and software delivery
• Provide technical guidance throughout the migration programme
• Produce supporting documentation and knowledge transfer

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience migrating TFS to Azure DevOps
• Strong Azure DevOps administration and configuration experience
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent understanding of DevOps principles and software delivery practices
• Azure Cloud experience
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Bash)
• Experience working within enterprise environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

• YAML Pipelines
• ARM Templates
• Kubernetes or Docker
• Azure Automation
• Financial Services or Banking experience
• Agile/Scrum delivery
