Network Cable Installer Apprentice
VQ Solutions are looking for a hardworking individual to join the team at Nene Data as a Network Cable Installer Apprentice. This role provides you with the opportunity to learn an ever growing trade in both fibre and copper installation.
Role
You will learn how to deploy both copper and fibre cabling solutions, this includes:
- Installation of Cat5e/Cat6/Fibre Optic Cabling (cable pulling)
- Termination of Cat5e/Cat6/Fibre Optic Cabling
- Testing of Copper and Fibre cabling
You will be also be required to diagnose and rectify faults.
You will be guided throughout this apprenticeship by experienced data cabling installers.
Training
You will work towards an Advanced level Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship delivered by VQ Solutions. You'll have a dedicated VQ Mentor and will also be supported internally by your manager.
During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend training courses, and have regular reviews. All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours.
- The majority of our apprentices are offered full time roles upon the successful completion of their apprenticeship, dependant on performance and availability of roles
