Business Development & Bid Manager
NET Recruit are partnering with a services business to recruit a Business Development & Bid Manager in the Bournemouth area. You Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Spearheading the development of growth strategies with the targeted aim of increasing both customer experience and satisfaction as well as financial improvement for the business
- Managing CRM input, including keeping up to date records of sales and revenue and effectively handling and monitoring the invoicing process
- Taking lead of assigned company accounts, promoting growth and development, striving to hit company targets, whilst ensuring the highest quality customer experience is executed through proactive account management
- Utilising opportunities to gain market insights and identify new markets and customer needs, ensuring that the company's solutions are promoted and targeted to action these and future client needs
- Developing exceptional and advantageous long-term relationships with both new and existing clients and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all needs are covered, arranging business meetings to prospects and striving to maintain the status of preferred supplier in the market
- Handling the preparation of sales contracts, as per guidelines and regulations
- Ensuring that sound after-sales support is provided, gaining and providing trustworthy feedback and utilising these insights to improve services and offerings in the future, as well as ensuring that any complaints or issues are escalated appropriately
- Managing and executing account development plans for assigned accounts to maximise profitability via strong relationship building and actionable targets
- Gaining an understanding of competitor offerings and experience in order to help product development and sales strategies
- Providing insightful forecasting as required
- Strong sales experience, ideally from within a B2B environment, working towards and exceeding set out targets
- Demonstratable experience in sound account management to leverage relationships to achieve and exceed targets
- Exposure to software sales and/or complex solution-based sales
- Proven experience in operating at all levels to drive sales activity
- Exceptional communication and customer engagement abilities, supported by confident presentation skills
- Sound commercial acumen and mindset, with a good underpinning of business management and operations
- Solid IT skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Possession of a full UK driving license
