Business Development Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities While in this position your duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Drive new revenue, open new markets, and build long-term client relationships across your region.
  • Identify prospects, shape tailored solutions, and guide clients through a consultative sales process.
  • Focus on key solution areas, including two-way radios, body-worn cameras, command and control systems, CCTV, access control, crowd and venue intelligence, and support services.
  • Take full ownership of revenue targets, securing new business from both allocated and self-generated accounts.
  • Work with commercial, operational, and engineering teams to create strong technical and commercial proposals.
  • Lead the quoting process to ensure solutions are commercially aligned and technically robust.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through targeted outreach, calls, emails, meetings, campaigns, and networking.
  • Use events, partner relationships, and new verticals to uncover opportunities.
  • Convert marketing leads into revenue and maximise value across existing clients and historical account data.
  • Develop trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Share proactive updates on industry developments and product advancements.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to strengthen credibility.
  • Continue expanding technical knowledge to improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Produce pipeline updates and sales plans to guide strategic decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Support additional tasks as required by senior leadership.

  • Confident using Microsoft applications and CRM platforms.
What You Will Get in Return: This is a full-time, UK-wide position reporting directly to the Director of Business Development. You will be joining a respected, growth-focused organisation where your work will have a tangible influence on commercial success and overall client impact. The role offers a base salary of £45,000. You will receive monthly commission based on sales and margin performance, an annual bonus, and uncapped commission at 10% of gross margin on any revenue generated above your annual target.
