Business Systems Analyst

The company prides itself on its supportive culture, dedication to its people, and commitment to continuous improvement.This position represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Analyst to join a growing IT team, supporting and improving key business applications and processes, with particular emphasis on the company’s ERP system.Your Role and Responsibilities While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Developing a strong understanding of user needs and business processes to ensure systems are effective and aligned with operational goals.
  • Identifying, specifying, and implementing system and process improvements.
  • Building, testing, and deploying system changes to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Creating detailed end-user documentation and delivering training when required.
  • Providing 2nd-line support for business applications and hardware, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs.
What you will need to Apply: The ideal candidate will be a technically proficient and analytical professional with experience in business systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience working with SQL, along with prior exposure to using or supporting an ERP system. A strong understanding of core Microsoft applications, including Windows and Office, is essential. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments. Strong troubleshooting skills, coupled with effective prioritisation and time management, will enable you to deliver results efficiently while maintaining high standards of work. A genuine enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement will also be crucial to your success in this position.It would be especially beneficial if you also understand core merchant or retail processes, such as buying, selling, and stock management. What you will get in Return: In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, dependent on skills and experience, for a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
