Contract Analyst

NET Recruit are partnering with a leading services business to support their search for a Contract Analyst, working remotely with travel to London once a month or so.Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Undertaking extensive risk control testing to support the identification of risks
  • Reviewing supplier contracts to identify any potential risks and communicate these effectively with suggestions for solutions
  • Documenting, proactively managing and mitigating identified risks from testing and reviews
  • Collaborating across the supply chain to ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Providing vital support to the Contract Manager to deliver the contract and supplier management framework, ensuring control across the company and solutions
  • Taking a crucial position in the procurement and negotiation of lower tier contracts and partner agreements
  • Supporting the procurement of new suppliers and onboarding these new suppliers as per policy guidelines
  • Undertaking due diligence checks on new suppliers, as well as monitoring compliance for existing suppliers
  • Coordinating supplier governance forums
  • Reviewing supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities with actionable suggestions
  • Supporting budget management by reviewing and validating invoices and seeking opportunities to drive cost efficiencies

  • Proven experience within contract or supplier management is essential
  • Knowledge of procurement practices specifically for third parties or outsourced operations
  • Demonstratable experience in reviewing and analysing contracts to identify risks
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
Your Opportunity This business is on a mission to make a positive impact on communities by supporting members of the public with accessing their finances. This position holder will be supporting the process for procuring and managing third party suppliers, ensuring that risks are minimised and actioned, that suppliers are performing as expected, that costs are driven down and that due diligence is undertaken.For the successful candidate within this role, a starting salary in the region of £45,000 will be on offer, depending on prior experience and knowledge.
