IT Financial Control Manager
A leading services business is searching for an IT Financial Control Manager to join the team in the London area.Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the delivering of annual testing for IT controls across systems and infrastructure such as cloud and SAP S/4HANA and others
- Undertaking reviews of IT Governance Controls relating to SOC report reviews, change management and logical access, as well as IT application, Interface monitoring controls
- Collaborating with Technical SMEs and Control Owners to relay information regarding testing schedules and evidence requirements
- Managing the evaluation process for the design and operating effectiveness of controls, highlighting key areas including deficiencies, root cause analysis and documenting test results
- Supporting stakeholders to develop both practical remediation and mitigation plans whilst also establishing corrective actions as they are required
- Developing and executing control-functional control improvement activities and reviews
- Managing the internal use of the audit IT system, including the provision of users, configuring templates and ensure that data is managed effectively
- Leading senior stakeholder reviews and approvals relating to control testing results and needed changes in control records
- Proactively supporting a robust culture relating to IT controls, ensuring that internal team members and wider business users are trained appropriately and upskilled as required
- Good solid experience with demonstratable exposure to IT audit, risk management and/or controls testing gained from either a large corporate or a Big 4 consulting environment
- Excellent understanding of application controls, ICFR requirements and ITGCs
- Strong technical knowledge surrounding IT architecture relating to networks, databases, operating systems and applications
- Proven experience using SAP S/4HANA specifically in areas such as automated controls, security roles and change management processes
- Awareness of GRC platforms and a good foundation in Microsoft Office
- Fantastic communications skills, both in written and verbal form, including liaising and supporting various stakeholders with technical information and to influence decision making
