WordPress Developer & IT Assistant
A highly successful business is seeking a WordPress Developer & IT Assistant to join the team working mostly remotely, with the occasional need to travel to London for meetings. This would likely equate to a few times a year.Your Role While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Developing and maintaining WordPress websites, which will include elements such as plugins, integrations and themes and will focus on expanding functionality as per requirements
- Using JavaScript, PHP and CSS to write code, ensuring this is well-documented
- Seeking opportunities to optimise website to enhance SEO, security and performance
- Actioning and troubleshooting any issues that arise that are related to WordPress
- Managing the integrations with third-party APIs and services
- Managing and, when needed, troubleshooting both Microsoft Exchanges and Google Workspace environments
- Supporting internal systems and tools with basic IT support, ensuring the customer service team are well supported in their needs
- Collaborating on both hardware and software installations and updates for the business
- Working cross-functionally across the business to improve IT workflows and systems
- Proven experience in a similar role, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics in relation to managing integrations, workflow automation and reporting
- Experience using CRM systems, including building automation and managing the system, as well as knowledge of DNS management with experience in modifying and managing records inside of Cloudflare and third-party providers
- Understanding of Nginx & Ubuntu web services, as well as previous working knowledge of Elementor page builder and WooCommerce
