As a Junior Observability Support Analyst, you'll become part of a collaborative team delivering enterprise-grade monitoring and support services for globally recognised clients. You'll receive mentoring from experienced consultants while developing practical skills with market-leading observability technologies and gaining exposure to complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the health, availability, and performance of enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments using observability platforms.
  • Investigate alerts and incidents, perform initial triage, identify root causes, and escalate where appropriate.
  • Support the resolution of production issues by collaborating with engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Analyse logs, metrics, traces, and performance data to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
  • Assist with configuring dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions to improve visibility across enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Help maintain service availability through proactive monitoring, incident management, and preventative maintenance.
  • Support the optimisation of monitoring capabilities and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.

About You

  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Splunk or another enterprise observability platform would be a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of Application Performance Monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, or production support.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a genuine passion for observability and modern cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Your Experience

  • Approximately 1–3 years' experience in an IT Support, Application Support, Service Desk, Operations, NOC, or Junior Observability role.
  • Experience supporting production environments and responding to technical incidents.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and service management best practices.
  • Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, Elastic, or similar technologies.
  • An understanding of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and production support environments.
  • Experience working within ITIL or similar operational frameworks is advantageous but not essential.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £35,000–£40,000 per annum.
  • Structured mentoring and support from experienced Observability Consultants.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise observability platforms, including Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Ongoing training, professional development, and clear opportunities for career progression.
  • The opportunity to work on business-critical systems for global enterprise clients using modern cloud technologies.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment where you'll be encouraged to learn, grow, and develop your technical expertise.
