Registration Authority Administrator

Job summary

A daily visit to Fen House before 12noon to meet the postal services is required for this post.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Registration Authority team working 0.2WTE, this can be worked as 1 full day or 2x half days

The role is an administrative position, you will need to be able to use a computer and general office systems (Word, basic Excel, email). You will have an attention to detail, an enthusiastic and friendly manner and an ability to work to tight timescales to ensure we meet our contractual KPIs.

Training will be given.

Main duties of the job

This position will require a daily visit to the office at Fen House but can work from home also. You will ideally have some experience of office based processes, dealing with customer queries, working to tight timescales to meet KPIs

You will have a can do attitude with a tonne of common sense. You will have experience of using Microsoft products but training on specific systems will be provided and you will have a proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work.

Person Specification

Education / Training / Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems
Desirable
  • Awareness of a range of Health Services provisions

Knowledge

Essential
  • Knowledge of NHS issues
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
Desirable
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
