Digital IT Project Manager

Job summary

  • As one of a team of project managers, the post holder will provide a professional project management service to the Digital & Informatics Directorate in the delivery of the Trusts Transformational Change Programme.
  • They will work across the Trust managing a range of Digital IT projects, or work streams ensuring the successful delivery of the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.
  • The post holder is responsible for the project producing a result that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case and the Project Initiation Document.

Main duties of the job

  • To support the Head of Digital PMO in meeting organisational objectives by designing, co-ordinating and delivering projects within the Digital Service

  • Liaise project teams to produce project documentation, including Project Initiation Document(s) (PID) and project control documents (Risk and Issue Log), highlight reports

  • To be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of multiple projects and work streams, within the Digital programme portfolio to the required quality and standard

  • Lead in collaboration with management colleagues, the identification of service development needs required to meet the Trusts business plan and strategic objectives and produce cost effective solutions to address them

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Job Title: Digital IT Project Manager

Location: Wayside House

Trust : Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Pay Rates: £23.52 Per Hours

Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday (9:00am to 5:00pm)

Duration: 12 Months FTC

  • To support the Digital Programme Manager in the evaluation and implementation of new electronic clinical systems
  • Support the organisation in business process change and service improvement planning
  • To effectively lead communication of projects benefits, justification and progress to all stakeholders
  • Raise awareness to support the delivery of projects
  • To liaise with the information department in respect of Data Quality issues within mental health, commissioner and providers services.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What you'll need:

Qualification:-

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge of the NHS
  • Experience of implementing major IT systems
  • Qualification - PRINCE2

Experience:-

  • Extensive experience of planning, managing and delivering complex projects
  • Proven skills in the ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Working across organisational boundaries. Experience of managing technology for business uses
  • Experience of working within a project and change management environment Knowledge and understanding of Information Governance
  • Experience of project management involving multifaceted work streams
  • Delivering projects within a healthcare setting environment
  • Experience of workforce planning
  • Experience of Risk Management
  • Experience in the building and management of relationships with customers, stakeholders and suppliers

Other:-

  • Ability to travel independently as and when required to fulfil the role
  • Able to attend conferences/meetings as and when required
  • Full driving licence
  • Willing to undertake DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check
