Job Title: Global Learning & Capability Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Learning & Capability Development Manager to lead the strategic design, development, and delivery of global learning initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, drive performance, and enable business transformation. This role requires expertise in end-to-end learning lifecycle management, digital and AI-driven learning ecosystems, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration in complex, global environments.
The ideal candidate will combine strong instructional design and programme leadership skills with a deep understanding of emerging learning technologies, data-driven insights, and change management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of global learning and capability programs aligned to business strategy and workforce needs.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and capability assessments to identify skills gaps and define targeted learning interventions.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders, HR, and SMEs to shape learning strategies and drive continuous learning culture.
- Oversee the creation of blended learning experiences (digital, virtual, and instructor-led) leveraging modern learning platforms and technologies.
- Integrate AI and digital innovation into learning ecosystems to automate, personalize, and scale learning experiences.
- Manage large-scale program rollouts, ensuring quality, consistency, and impact across geographies.
- Measure and evaluate learning effectiveness using data and analytics to demonstrate ROI and inform ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors, learning partners, and internal design teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
- Support change management initiatives to embed new learning approaches and digital capabilities across the organization.
- Champion ethical AI, data governance, and compliance standards within learning systems and processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Capability Building, or Learning Transformation roles.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end global learning programmes in technical, regulated, or enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning tools (LMS, eLearning, MR/AR, analytics platforms).
- Experience in AI integration for L&D, learning analytics, and innovation-driven capability development.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, vendors, and global delivery timelines.
- Familiarity with compliance, data governance, or IT/legal frameworks is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, HR, Business, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications (CIPD, ATD, AI in L&D) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working across multiple regions and cultures.
- Exposure to SaaS learning environments, academy builds, or enterprise learning transformation projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or equivalent).
