Job Title: Freelancer Training Coordinator

Location: Portsmouth & Stevenage UK

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freelancer Training Coordinator to support the successful execution of training programs and learning events in Portsmouth, UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing participant communication, supporting trainers during sessions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day training operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end training operations and onsite logistics
  • Manage participant registrations, attendance tracking, and communication
  • Support trainers and facilitators during classroom or workshop sessions
  • Prepare training materials, meeting rooms, and session schedules
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders
  • Handle training calendars, reporting, and documentation
  • Ensure smooth execution of virtual, hybrid, and onsite training programs
  • Troubleshoot operational issues during sessions and provide immediate support
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and participant experience

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in training coordination, event coordination, or learning operations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to manage multiple training sessions simultaneously
  • Comfortable working onsite and handling operational activities independently

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience supporting corporate learning or leadership programs
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms or training management systems
  • Exposure to virtual delivery platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  • Experience working with global stakeholders or multinational teams

Preferred Background

  • Background in Learning & Development, Operations, HR, or Event Coordination
  • Experience in freelance or contract-based training support roles
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on training schedules
