Cyber Insurance Specialist

A leading regional insurance broker is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Insurance Specialist to take ownership of a growing product area in a regional, client-facing role. Covering multiple offices across the North West, you’ll be the go-to expert for Cyber - driving new business, supporting Account Executives, and playing a key part in expanding the firm’s Cyber proposition.

This is not a servicing or renewal role. You’ll focus on spotting opportunities, engaging with clients, and closing Cyber sales - with full support from a collaborative team of Account Executives and Handlers. With a solid foundation already in place and no internal resistance, this is a rare opportunity to make a real commercial impact, backed by strong internal buy-in and a large book of potential.

Responsibilities of the Cyber Insurance Specialist:

  • Work closely with Account Executives to identify Cyber cross-sell opportunities within established client portfolios.
  • Take the lead on Cyber sales conversations, engaging directly with clients to understand their risks and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Act as an internal Cyber expert, supporting and educating colleagues to grow confidence in offering Cyber to their clients.
  • Drive the commercial success of the Cyber product line across the region, backed by leadership and internal alignment.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Cyber insurance and its role within modern commercial risk management.
  • A proven track record in sales, business development, or client-facing insurance roles.
  • Versatile, credible, and capable of influencing both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in helping businesses protect against evolving risks.
  • Flexibility to travel across the North West as part of a regional role is essential.
