Location: Surrey UK (Hybrid) on site 3 days a week

Contract for an experienced Software Developer focused on automation, contributing directly to the customer's existing automation initiatives.
Serve as a local EMEA advocate for automation, supporting EMEA and APAC teams with issues related to currently available Operations task focused automation, especially where expertise in the customer's broad automation architecture is required.

Design and build testing frameworks to enable regular, repeatable testing of customer APIs, with eventual handoff to the customer's Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
Support customer operations and storage/backup teams by helping them navigate the existing automation framework and troubleshoot issues. This is adjacent and supportive of the service from SRE team, providing an application-development-centric complement to SRE services.
