Opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with a solid track record to join a forward thinking IT managed Service Provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
- Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, EntraID, Copilot) and Azure-based solutions.
- Execute seamless migrations of data, devices, and applications across platforms, including:
- Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant
- Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- File Servers or cloud file services to SharePoint Online
- On-premises Servers to Azure IaaS/PaaS
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Servers in Windows environments.
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Implement Teams Voice and Telephony solutions.
Required Skills and Certifications
- Professional certifications: M365 Administrator Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and EntraID.
- Proven expertise in migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Strong background in Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Servers.
- Practical experience in designing and building Azure solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Intune deployments and best practices.
- Experience with device and data migration tools.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of both public and private cloud platforms, as well as cloud-hosted file storage solutions.
Desirable skills:
- Experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot, including governance frameworks, readiness assessments, and user enablement.
- Ability to leverage Power Automate for workflow automation and Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Broader understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced automation experience using PowerShell, Graph API, or Azure Automation for large-scale management and orchestration.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk, Compliance Manager).
- Hands-on experience with Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) or Privileged Identity Management (PIM) in EntraID.
- Experience with third-party identity providers (Okta, Ping, Duo) and hybrid identity scenarios.
- Familiarity with cross-platform device management (Android Enterprise, macOS with Intune, Linux in Azure).
- Exposure to hybrid networking and security, eg Azure Firewall, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, or conditional access with Zero Trust principles.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (Azure Backup, Site Recovery, or third-party DR tools).
- Practical experience with governance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) and aligning Microsoft cloud solutions to compliance requirements.
- Contribution to change management and user adoption programs, including training, guides, and workshops for end-users.
- Familiarity with licensing models and cost optimization in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
