As part of a major international financial market infrastructure group, we build, operate, and license cutting-edge, low-latency exchange technology globally. Our business thrives on a culture of positive disruption, transparency, and high performance. - Troubleshooting & Packet Analysis: Methodically diagnose Real Time network and security issues using network monitoring platforms, logs, and deep packet captures to isolate root causes.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Manage the end-to-end technical life cycle of client access requests, VPN configuration, connectivity onboarding, and decommissioning.
- Live Platform Support: Monitor live financial platforms during trading hours, maintaining maximum platform stability (includes occasional hands-on operational visits to our East and West London data centers).
- Change & Incident Management: Execute planned network changes, validate post-change functionality, and collaborate with providers to provision or troubleshoot external leased lines and circuits.
- Documentation: Create and maintain pristine network diagrams, capacity plans, and operational support procedures.
What You Bring (Required Skills)
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of dedicated experience within a Network Operations (NOC) or high-level Network Support environment.
- Routing & Switching: Solid hands-on experience and troubleshooting knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and RSTP.

- Security & Firewalls: Practical experience with Firewall Cluster management via a centralized Firewall manager, alongside VPN configuration and support.
- Diagnostics Toolkit: Strong network and security troubleshooting experience using packet capture tools (Wireshark, TCPdump) and enterprise network monitoring platforms.
- Certification Baseline: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent level of verified technical experience.
- Professional Attributes: Strong teamwork, exceptional communication skills, and a meticulous approach to documentation.
- Role Alignment: A genuine desire to work and thrive in a fast-paced Network Operations/Support capacity.
Desirable Skills (Highly Advantageous)
