Data Vice President

NSTR is exclusively recruiting a Data VP for a fast growth PE fund in London. Superb opportunity to be part of something very special.

Our client is looking for a Data expert that combines a commercial edge with exceptional technical skills and the ability to drive and shape strategy and growth in their portfolio companies. The role is a combination between highly technical, strategic, and a highly commercial remit, requiring an experienced, operational data leader to act as a business partner for our client’s Portfolio companies.

This data expert will be a joint leader on the strategy to promote and drive changes on the data of the portfolio companies, operational upgrades, and growth initiatives, while possessing an ability to be hands-on and can ‘roll up their sleeves’. They will implement proactive, high energy, growth and continual improvement agendas across the portfolio companies.

Key highlights:

- Diagnosis and transformation of data operations across the SaaS portfolio

- Drive value creation through data science, analytics, and BI

- Partner with C-suite and Exec teams to build and execute scalable data strategies

- Utilisation of SQL, Python, and modern data tools

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years' relevant experience in a similar role in a PE fund, in a Consulting firm, or in a Data boutique. The role will be suited well to a robust personality, somebody that can marry up the technical skillset with the ability to influence and guide portfolio CEO / CFO etc.
