Job Summary

A fundamental part of our growth strategy is to accelerate the development and expansion of our SAP business. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of SAP Supply Chain and Sales solutions to engage with clients, understand their business challenges, and design tailored propositions that drive operational and commercial transformation.

With a particular focus on end-to-end Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash processes, you will play a key role in the presales process, working closely with sales teams and clients to position our capabilities across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales execution.

As we continue to grow, we need to invest in and further extend our capabilities and services to both attract new customers in the upper mid-market and lower enterprise space, and to better serve the evolving requirements of our existing customers.

Duties / Responsibilities

In summary, this key appointment will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of activities relating to three key business development functions:

1. Pre-Sales Support and Service Design:

Working closely with the sales functions and relevant SAP sales teams, you will be responsible for the management, co-ordination, and oversight of the preparation and delivery of sales support activities, including:

  • RFP and bid responses
  • Proposal preparation and solution design
  • Service scope definition and estimates
  • Commercial governance
  • System demonstrations and value propositions
  • Client workshops, engagement, and executive presentations

You will support the full sales lifecycle, ensuring that SAP Supply Chain and Sales solutions are positioned clearly, credibly, and with a strong value-led narrative.

2. Refinement of ‘Go-to-Market’ (GTM) Strategy and Approach:

Consulting and collaborating with key internal stakeholders, sales teams, and SAP account teams, you will be directly responsible for refining and evolving our SAP Supply Chain and Sales GTM strategy.

This will focus on solution areas including, but not limited to:

  • S/4HANA Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Sales & Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash
  • Materials Management (MM) and Procurement
  • Manufacturing and Production Planning (PP, QM, PM)
  • Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM)
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Demand/Supply Planning
  • SAP Ariba and procurement networks
  • Supply Chain and Operations insights via SAP Analytics Cloud

You will also help define and promote our Fit4Future advisory services, packaged offerings, innovations, accelerators, and “Run Better” services, targeting both upper mid‐market and lower enterprise customers.

3. Solution Advisory Delivery

Lead and/or support Solution Advisory engagements with customers, acting as a trusted advisor for SAP Supply Chain and Sales transformations. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting roadmap and strategy engagements, including paths from ECC to S/4HANA
  • Running discovery, Fit-to-Standard, and value assessment workshops
  • Developing living roadmaps and documenting transformation opportunities across Supply Chain and Sales
  • Advising on process harmonisation, operational efficiency, and resilience
  • Supporting install-base customers as a named Solution Advisor
  • Contributing to regular Customer Business Reviews and strategic account planning

Key Qualifications

Required Skills / Attributes

  • Demonstrable SAP presales experience, ideally supported by SAP presales certifications
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Supply Chain and Sales architecture and solutions, including:
  • S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) / Order-to-Cash
  • Procurement and Materials Management (MM)
  • Manufacturing and Production Planning
  • SAP EWM and TM
  • SAP IBP
  • SAP Ariba
  • Strong understanding of ECC-to-S/4HANA migration scenarios and simplification items for Supply Chain and Sales
  • Familiarity with SAP Public and Private Cloud deployment models
  • Multi-industry experience delivering or supporting supply chain and commercial transformation initiatives
  • Excellent presales soft skills, including facilitation, client workshops, storytelling, and executive presentations
  • Strong commercial acumen with a value-based, outcome-led approach to solution design
  • Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including senior operational, supply chain, and executive stakeholders
  • High level of motivation, autonomy, and resilience in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, with a professional and structured communication style

Desirable Skills / Attributes

  • SAP certifications across Supply Chain and Sales-related modules
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud for supply chain visibility, planning, and performance management
  • Knowledge of cross-functional integration points with Finance, Customer Experience (CX), and HR
  • Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for supply chain extensions, automation, and innovation
  • Experience delivering Fit-to-Standard workshops and transformation roadmaps for Supply Chain and Sales
  • Track record of supporting advisory engagements for ECC to S/4HANA transitions and living roadmaps
  • Experience working with both upper mid-market and large enterprise clients
  • Thought leadership presence through blogs, webinars, whitepapers, or event participation
