Job Summary:

As a Senior Consultant in the EPM practice, you will play a key role in delivering complex projects to our customers in relation to accounting and financial close through to financial planning and analysis. Working as part of a project team, you will provide subject matter expertise and lead the delivery of solution workstreams whilst maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver consulting solutions against project requirements, helping customers solve business and technical challenges in a planning and consolidation settings
• Capture, analyse and document business requirements, and help to translate them into effective and practical solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise across financial planning, consolidation and financial reporting technologies
• Lead the delivery of assigned workstreams, ensuring quality outcomes are delivered to clients, on time and on budget, and within the project scope
• Build trusted relationships with clients, and act as a first point of contact during project delivery
• Support design workshops, and contribute to the production of solution designs
• Contribute to the production of project documentation, test scripts and knowledge transfer materials and sessions
• Work effectively alongside project managers, solution architects and wider delivery teams across the business to support successful project execution
• Mentor and support junior and offshore consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices across the team
• Contribute to the delivery of reusable assets, demonstration systems and project methodologies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP EPM technologies and industry trends in order to bring innovative ideas to customer engagements
• Support practice growth, via contribution to pre-sales activities and proposals where appropriate
• Achieve personal utilisation and delivery objectives

Required Skills/Abilities:

To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background of finance processes, combined with a practical experience delivering SAP EPM solutions. You will have experience working directly with customers to design and implement planning, consolidation and reporting solutions, with strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Must-Have:

• 5+ years SAP EPM experience
• Experience delivering multiple planning and/or consolidation projects
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes
• Proven hands-on experience delivering SAP Analytics Cloud solutions (minimum 2-3 project implementations)
• Ability to gather and understand business requirements and convert them into practical customer solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-facing consulting skills
• Experience owning solution testing and deployment activities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-Have:

• SAP Group Reporting and/or other financial consolidation solutions
• SAP Business Planning and Consolidation experience developing Planning and consolidation models
• Relevant qualification, a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or business, professional accounting certifications such as CIMA or ACCA.
• SAP PAPM
• SAP Disclosure Management
• SAC integration with BW, Datasphere, SuccessFactors or S/4HANA
• Good understanding of cross-module integration with other SAP solutions such as ECC or S/4HANA modules

Personal Profile:

• 5+ years of consulting experience in SAP EPM technologies, with recent experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Group Reporting
• Successful delivery of multiple project lifecycles across planning, consolidation or management reporting solutions
• Experience leading solution workstreams and coordinating activities across customer and project teams
• Production of high-quality project documentation and test deliverables
• Strong customer-facing experience, including workshop facilitation and requirements gathering
• Proven ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams
