Overview
The ServiceNow IRM Product Manager is responsible for defining, shaping and leading the delivery of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solutions within client environments.
The role operates at a senior level within the ServiceNow Practice and is accountable for product direction, stakeholder engagement and value realisation across complex programmes.
This role combines product ownership, domain expertise and client advisory responsibilities. The individual is expected to work autonomously, represent the consultancy with credibility at executive level and ensure that ServiceNow IRM solutions align with regulatory obligations, risk frameworks and organisational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Ownership -
- Define and maintain the vision, roadmap and value proposition for ServiceNow IRM engagements.
- Translate regulatory, risk and compliance requirements into scalable and sustainable platform solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions and product workshops to define scope, outcomes and priorities.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, regulatory exposure and technical feasibility.
- Provide subject matter expertise on ServiceNow IRM capabilities and platform evolution.
Client Engagement and Advisory -
- Act as a senior, client-facing advisor to risk, compliance, audit and technology stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive discussions on governance transformation, risk visibility and compliance automation.
- Provide strategic guidance on IRM operating models, process design and maturity uplift.
- Develop business cases and track value realisation.
- Manage scope, expectations and stakeholder alignment in complex delivery environments.
Delivery Oversight -
- Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practice and platform standards.
- Oversee solution design across areas such as:
- Policy and Compliance Management
- Enterprise and Operational Risk Management
- Control Testing and Continuous Monitoring
- Audit Management
- Third-Party Risk Management
- Regulatory Change Management
- Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management
- Ensure alignment with platform governance, data model integrity and integration strategy.
- Identify and mitigate risks relating to compliance gaps, adoption challenges and technical debt.
Governance and Quality -
- Establish appropriate product governance structures within client programmes.
- Define and monitor KPIs relating to compliance coverage, control effectiveness and automation.
- Promote standardised delivery approaches and reusable assets within the consultancy.
- Contribute to internal capability development and thought leadership in the IRM domain.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Significant experience in IRM and wider GRC, including strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM.
- Proven experience operating as a Product Manager or Product Owner within enterprise ServiceNow programmes.
- Strong understanding of recognised risk and control frameworks such as ISO 27001 & 31000, NIST, COSO, DORA and COBIT and the ability to align ServiceNow IRM solutions to evolving regulatory and industry standards.
- Experience operating within regulated environments and managing compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in senior, client-facing roles.
- Experience within a consultancy or professional services environment is desirable.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications are advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience in Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management, including scenario testing, impact tolerances, business impact analysis and regulatory resilience requirements where applicable.
