Strategic Pursuit Leader (London)

The Strategic Pursuit Leader is responsible for managing and orchestrating the end-to-end strategic pursuit cycle. You will create an account engagement plan and own its execution. During early stages, you will review the client-facing point of view and compelling value propositions, providing feedback from a deal shaping perspective. You will influence, orchestrate, and facilitate internal alignment to remove blockers and achieve desired business outcomes.
The Strategic Pursuit Leader will understand value drivers, value propositions, transformation angles, stakeholder maps (including board relationships), competitive landscape, decision processes, and timelines, including clarity of the approval path. Based on this, you will create an actionable Pursuit Strategy/Win Strategy that clearly states what NTT DATA needs to do to win, and you will continually update it as the pursuit progresses. You will develop and refine the understanding of which client executives need to believe what, and what needs to be true for the client to choose NTT DATA.
You will leverage the value proposition to align stakeholders and shape/create a deal. From a renewals perspective, this role will establish a process for high-value renewals, including assessment, strategy, and execution, working with Industry Sector Leaders to roll it out.
Responsibilities:
- Own the creation and execution of strategic pursuit engagement plans, collaborating across teams to ensure alignment and action.
- Engage early with customer technology and business leaders to build relationships and understand their needs and challenges.
- Manage customer relationships from origination to closure of complex, high-value proposals.
- Create win strategies aligned with customer business goals and technology needs.
- Lead solution design, construction, and orchestration across NTT, partners, and the client.
- Collaborate across solutions and functions with Sales, Client Executives, Consulting Leads, Architects, Delivery, and Operations to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure clarity of the solution vision, scope, and value proposition.
Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture to create innovative solutions.
What experience you'll bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years in enterprise sales, complex deal pursuit, or consulting sales, preferably in IT services.
- 10 years of managing and closing complex deal cycles that meet customer expectations.
- 10 years in various technology domains such as cloud, data, security, network, infrastructure, and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
