Senior Application Consultant - IFS Apps 10

*This is a fixed term contract role for an initial 12 months*

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Consultant specializing in IFS Apps 10 to join our team on a contract basis. You will act as a subject matter expert for all things IFS, with the opportunity to architect innovative solutions, lead critical project workstreams, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership.

This is a senior, hands-on position where you'll rapidly integrate into the team and begin delivering value immediately. You'll translate strategic business needs into robust, scalable, and efficient IFS solutions while meeting key project deadlines.

What You'll Do

Solution Architecture

• Design and implement advanced solutions within IFS Apps 10 to meet complex business requirements
• Ensure best practices and system integrity across implementations
• Develop scalable, efficient approaches to technical challenges

Business Process Optimization

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to analyze and optimize core manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through strategic use of IFS functionality
• Leverage IFS capabilities to drive business value

Project Delivery Leadership

• Lead IFS Apps 10 project workstreams including system upgrades, module implementations, and major enhancements
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues
• Unblock progress and provide expert diagnosis and resolution

Knowledge Transfer

• Efficiently transfer specialist knowledge to permanent team members
• Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the contract term
• Build capability within the organization

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

• Extensive background as a senior IFS Consultant or Solution Architect with proven contract delivery capability
• Expert-level, hands-on knowledge of IFS Applications, specifically with extensive experience in Apps 10 (Cloud is advantageous but not essential)
• Deep functional and technical understanding of core IFS modules within a manufacturing context (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Projects)
• Demonstrated ability to design robust, scalable solutions to complex business problems under tight timelines
• Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence advising senior leadership on technical and strategic matters
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels

Nice to Have:

• Official IFS certifications in relevant modules
• Experience with IFS Cloud
• Technical proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and IFS reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, SSRS)
• Experience in multi-site or global manufacturing organizations
