We are working in partnership with a highly advanced, automated distribution operation in Yorkshire to appoint a Manhattan Active Support professional. This role is pivotal in enhancing system performance, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring the effective delivery of key initiatives within a dynamic, technology-driven supply chain environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with in-depth experience of warehouse management systems particularly Manhattan Active, who is comfortable operating in a complex, fast-moving logistics setting.

The Role

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of system optimisation, support continuous improvement activity, and contribute to the successful execution of operational and technical projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support and guidance on Manhattan Active WMS across site operations
  • Drive ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and throughput
  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions using structured improvement methodologies
  • Support the planning and delivery of operational and system-related projects from initiation through to completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, engineering, and external partners
  • Monitor system and operational performance, using data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in embedding best practices and supporting change across teams
  • Contribute to the optimisation of automated systems and warehouse workflows
  • Ensure consistent delivery of service, productivity, and cost improvements
  • About You

    We are seeking a proactive and technically capable individual who combines strong WMS knowledge with a practical understanding of warehouse operations.

    Key Skills & Experience

    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting Manhattan WMS or Manhattan Active
    • Background within an automated distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment
    • Solid understanding of continuous improvement principles (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and solve problems effectively
    • Experience working on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced setting
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
    • Comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver operational and system improvements
