Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to lead the testing strategy for a large-scale Blue Yonder WMS transformation programme. You will define and drive end-to-end test automation across WMS, integrations, and supply chain systems, ensuring quality throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the test automation strategy and roadmap.
  • Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Drive end-to-end automated testing across WMS and connected platforms.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing.
  • Establish automation standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Lead defect management, test data strategy, and environment planning.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to automation teams.
  • Track automation effectiveness, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in test automation architecture and framework design.
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with API and integration test automation.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder WMS or comparable enterprise WMS platforms.
  • Strong programming skills (Java, TypeScript, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Good understanding of Agile/SAFe and DevOps practices.
  • Cloud experience (Azure or AWS).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Blue Yonder WMS implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Retail and supply chain environments.
  • Performance testing within WMS ecosystems.
  • Data migration and validation activities.
  • Cloud-based testing and DevOps delivery models.
