WCS Programme Manager
NXA is supporting a trusted, long-standing client in securing two Senior Programme Managers to lead major transformation initiatives across warehousing and logistics operations.
This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of large-scale, greenfield automation programmes, driving end-to-end delivery with a strong focus on Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading complex programmes from inception through to delivery, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and operational stakeholders. These programmes involve the implementation of advanced warehouse automation solutions integrated with WMS platforms in fast-paced, large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of automation and WMS transformation programmes
- Manage greenfield site implementations, from design through deployment
- Oversee integration of WMS with automated systems (e.g. ASRS, robotics, conveyor solutions)
- Drive governance, risk management, and programme reporting at senior stakeholder level
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including vendors, system integrators, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure delivery against scope, budget, and timelines
Required Experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Programme Manager on large-scale transformation programmes
- Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integration
- Demonstrable success delivering greenfield automation projects within logistics, supply chain, or distribution environments
- Experience working with automation technologies (e.g. robotics, ASRS, sortation systems)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical domains
- Excellent leadership, communication, and delivery governance skills
