Lead BA/Business Architect - Contract opportunity

Location- Bournemouth/Norwich

Job Role:

Lead BA/Business Architect to lead a focused discovery across an internally developed 'CRM' platform as part of a wider project scope. There will be a large focus on application architecture, data structures, and operational processes, working closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

Objective

Build a clear, reliable view of how B2C business currently operates using core Customer Records Systems, to support safe system retirement and ongoing replacement planning.

Duties:

• Map the application architecture (components, services, jobs, environment)
• Understand core data structures and state models
• Document customer record lifecycle and key operational processes
• Map safety event workflows (alerts, incidents, escalations)
• Trace data flows and lineage across systems
• Identify and document system integrations and dependencies (ERP, billing, etc.)
• Understand billing triggers and financial data flows

Candidate Criteria:

• High-level architecture and integration diagrams
• Data flows and key entity relationships
• Process maps (customer lifecycle, safety events, billing triggers)
• System dependency view
• Key risks, gaps, and undocumented logic

* Strong Senior / Lead BA or Business Architect

* Experience in complex legacy system discovery / transformation

** Comfortable working across data, systems, and business processes
