At Natcap , our mission is to integrate nature intelligence into business decision-making , helping global companies understand and act on their nature impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
We are now hiring what may be one of our most critical hires : a Senior Account Executive who combines deep technical acumen with exceptional sales execution. This role reports directly to the Head of Commercial and works closely with our CEO .
🚀 The Role:
We’re looking for a commercially exceptional, highly technical operator who can autonomously run full sales cycles and act as a trusted expert on nature risk and strategy .
You’ll translate complex scientific and analytical concepts into compelling commercial narratives — guiding senior stakeholders through impact measurement , ecosystem services , supply-chain risk , mitigation strategies , and regulatory pressures such as TNFD and CSRD .
This is not a script-based sales role. You will shape our go-to-market motion, elevate our sales playbook, and drive our expansion into key European markets.
What you’ll do
- Own the full sales lifecycle , from targeted outbound to contract signature — consistently exceeding targets.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert across nature risk assessment, impact modelling, ecosystem services, supply chains, and mitigation workflows.
- Run deep technical discovery and collaborate with Science, Product, Delivery and Engineering to turn methodology into actionable executive-level narratives.
- Maintain rigorous sales process discipline , CRM accuracy and forecasting.
- Represent Natcap at key industry events, growing both brand and pipeline.
- Act as the voice of the customer , influencing our product roadmap and identifying market-wide technical gaps.
🌍 Who We’re Looking For:
Essential
- 7+ years in sustainability related consulting and/or 10+ years of experience in Enterprise sales, ideally a high-growth business combining software and advisory services.
- Strong domain understanding in at least one of: nature, biodiversity, climate , environmental modelling, R&D-intensive fields.
- A proven track record of closing complex, technical enterprise deals with quantifiable success.
- Ability to act autonomously , using intuition to move fast, solve problems, and help build our commercial function from the ground up.
- Experience in high-growth or nascent-market environments.
- Established European network (UK, FR, DE, NL, Nordics).
- Strong communicator able to distil technical depth into clarity.
- Comfortable working 4 days per week in our Farringdon office .

- Established portfolio of contacts at corporates across a number of industries (e.g., food and beverage, retail, fashion, and financial services)
- Proficiency in a European language (e.g. French, German..)
- Experience with additional markets (e.g. APAC, MENA)
