Full Stack Engineer

Job Overview

NativeFoundation is building a new generation of AI-native products — starting with the Aether platform, including AetherGraph (job candidate matching) and a growing suite of intelligence, enrichment, and simulation systems.

We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale these products from first principles. This is a hands-on role at the core of the company: you'll ship real systems, shape technical decisions, and work closely with founders, product, and research.

This is not a maintenance role. You'll be building foundations that will be used by enterprises, platforms, and partners — and you'll be expected to think ahead of today's tooling and patterns.

What You'll Do

You will work in two capacities

• Core Aether Products
• Your initial focus will be on building and evolving NativeFoundation's own AI-native product stack, including:
• AetherGraph – job and candidate matching using graph + vector intelligence
• Data enrichment & intelligence pipelines
• AI-driven workflows and decision systems
• Product UIs, APIs, and internal tooling

• You'll help take these systems from early production through scale — owning features end-to-end and contributing to architectural decisions.

• Applied Client Work (Selective)

• Alongside core product development, you'll occasionally rotate into selected client engagements where we apply the same technology and thinking in real-world environments:
• AI-native product builds and rebuilds
• Rapid MVPs and validation sprints
• Modernisation of legacy SaaS around AI capabilities
• This keeps our product work grounded in reality — and gives you exposure to multiple problem domains without becoming a consultancy.

Qualifications

• Have 2–4 years' experience shipping production software
• Are comfortable building UIs in React
• Can read and write Python well enough to ship APIs and fix bugs
• Know your way around Docker and at least one CI system
• Are excited by LLMs, open-source tooling, and rapid prototyping
• Enjoy autonomy, fast iteration, and thinking in systems rather than tickets
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for deployment and resource management.
• Knowledge of database management systems like Postgres, MySQL
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in software development processes.
• A recognised qualification in Computer Science or related field is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for developers eager to contribute to innovative projects while expanding their expertise across multiple technologies in a supportive environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£62,000.00 per year
