About The Role

N Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Principal Architect to lead the architecture design and implementation for greenfield projects for one of our investment banking clients, focusing on their Asset Management division. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java-based application architecture, infrastructure architecture, and cloud architecture (primarily Azure). The role will require close interaction with business teams, developers, and business analysts, along with representing architecture in front of the Architecture Review Board.

Key Responsibilities

Lead greenfield projects to design scalable, robust, and secure solutions in the Asset Management division.

Provide expert guidance in Java-based application architecture and ensure best practices are followed in design and deployment.

Develop infrastructure and cloud solutions using Azure cloud services.

Present architectural solutions to the Architecture Review Board, ensuring technical compliance with standards.

Work closely with business teams, developers, and analysts to align technical solutions with business needs, especially in Asset Management.

Provide technical leadership, reviewing code, guiding teams, and ensuring design standards are met.

Use knowledge of Asset Management to support portfolio management, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in Java architecture (Spring Boot, Microservices).

Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (App Services, AKS, Azure Functions).

Experience With TOGAF Or Zachman Frameworks.

Strong communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and present solutions.

Domain knowledge in Asset Management, including portfolio and risk management.
