Ncounter is supporting an ambitious technology consultancy that is delivering complex programmes across the UK Defence and National Security community. As demand continues to grow, they are looking for experienced delivery professionals who thrive in high-pressure, high-assurance environments where successful outcomes matter.

These opportunities suit individuals who enjoy bringing clarity to complexity. Whether leading customer engagements or establishing entirely new delivery capabilities, you'll work alongside senior technical leaders, architects, partners and customers to ensure ambitious programmes are delivered successfully.

Depending on your background, you could be responsible for managing multiple secure client engagements, balancing scope, timelines, budgets and delivery risks, or taking ownership of building a brand-new service capability, coordinating several major technology partners and suppliers before ultimately leading that function long term.

Success in these roles comes from strong leadership rather than deep technical expertise. You'll be someone who can bring together multiple stakeholders, make sound decisions under pressure, remove obstacles and keep complex programmes moving forward, while working closely with Solution Architects to ensure delivery remains aligned with the agreed technical vision.

We're looking for people with:

• Current DV clearance is essential

• Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes within Defence, National Security or other highly regulated environments

• Outstanding stakeholder management skills across customers, partners and senior executives

• Strong commercial awareness with experience balancing delivery, risk and customer outcomes

• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to make decisions in challenging situations

• Experience managing budgets, dependencies, governance and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams

• APM, PRINCE2, PMP or Agile certifications would be beneficial, but practical delivery experience is valued most
