With innovation hardwired into their DNA, they're building a brand-new, high-impact tech innovation function to accelerate product software development and monetise creative tech. The Engineering Director – Technology Innovation will spearhead a newly created squad dedicated to launching high-value platform enhancements and custom solutions for enterprise customers. You'll work directly with the CEO, tech and product leaders to transform ideas into scalable, revenue-driving features.

The Engineering Director – Technology Innovation will:

• Build and lead a full-stack engineering squad focused on SaaS product innovation
• Shape and own technical direction for greenfield developments and platform enhancements
• Translate customer opportunities into deliverable features that create measurable commercial value
• Champion modern engineering principles and agile delivery across all initiatives
• Influence product and strategy conversations at C-level and with external stakeholders

Experience needed:

• Proven leadership of product-led SaaS engineering teams (10–20 engineers)
• Strong hands-on experience across .NET Core, Angular, Azure, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL
• Deep architectural thinking with a balance of speed, scalability, and quality
• Commercial and customer-facing awareness with experience shaping enterprise tech outcomes
• Agile mindset, with a track record of iterative delivery and embedded quality (e.g. TDD, Scrum)
