The Software Engineer (Python & C++) will take ownership of complex systems from design through deployment, translating innovation into live tools used by some of the world's biggest financial institutions.

The Software Engineer will:

– Optimise and productionise high-performance Python and C++ prototypes

– Guide code quality and enforce standards across the stack

– Build testable, scalable features that integrate into cloud-based systems

– Collaborate closely with the CTO and mentor less experienced engineers

– Contribute to technical direction, architecture, and tooling choices

You'll bring:

– Proven expertise in Python, particularly in production settings

– Proven experience with C++

– A track record of high-velocity delivery without sacrificing quality

– Strong grasp of testing frameworks, CI/CD, and peer review practices

– Fintech, quant, or numerical computing exposure (nice to have)
