Content Administrator – 12 month FTC

£28,000 - £32,000 p/a

Glasgow, 3 days / week onsite

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced with CMSs and Website Content Editing along with the related Administration around it to join a small, supportive and friendly content team working on-site at a leading Financial Services company based in Glasgow.

This 12 month fixed term contract would see you joining a collaborative and hands-on team, working on a huge enterprise website as you prioritise and triage global requests around changes, updates and issues to the site. You’ll need to be used to working with a shared mailbox and creating tickets as well as keeping track of your workload as you support internal communication, make web content edits yourself and manage content governance. It’s a perfect role for someone who’s experienced with different content platforms and editing content online themselves as well as being super organised and having worked in a busy role with an administrative edge to it. You’ll need to enjoy variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Request will come in from teams globally and you’ll mange these by raising tickets and either resolving them yourself where possible, or communicating with your team or wider teams to investigate and understand what is required. You’ll be required to oversee multiple requests at once and should be able to coordinate with colleagues on emails and calls, to progress tickets and ensure content is correct, up to date and accessible. Other elements of the role will involve using Microsoft 365 products like excel to run various reports such as on your current workload and pulling URL’s through etc. You may also check documents in Word before uploading and ideally will have had aspects of your previous roles that require a lot of attention to detail and management of tasks, documents, checking for errors etc.

The Content Administrator will work collaboratively in a team that delivers high quality digital experiences, ensuring digital content is correct, up to date and accessible. Content may require copy, image, colour, formatting, permission, document changes amongst many other types of requests. The role will see you working with Digital Content Management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), SharePoint, and Jive, as you help to maintain sites and the content within them.

This role involves:

  • Managing shared inboxes and ticketing systems to prioritise and triage incoming requests
  • Maintaining content across platforms (such as AEM SharePoint), ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Coordinating reviews of documents and publishing final approved versions
  • Supporting internal communications with regular stakeholder updates and engagement
  • Escalating technical / content issues to the wider team where needed
  • Taking ownership of weekly communications with content owners
  • Handling urgent content updates and wider admin tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in using content management systems such as AEM and SharePoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and working independently
  • Experience with shared inboxes and ticketing systems
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for content edits would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with document governance and version control
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a team first mindset

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite in Glasgow, and candidates must also be comfortable working in a professional office environment.
