Venture Capital Investor (Team Manager) | Tech | South West or North West
Neos Global Search is partnering with an innovative VC within the tech space looking for a calibre addition to undertake a senior leadership position within its investment team.
The role will sit in Tech investment team with a remit which will span origination, advisory and portfolio management.
Critically, this role will lead a small team of venture capital investment professionals and to this end, will focus not just on transactions but also mentoring and developing a high-calibre team.
Key deliverables include;
- Source, develop and manage a portfolio of debt and equity investments in line with an agreed Investment Strategy
- Lead on capital project development and development of business cases for strategically significant projects
- Leading a high-calibre team in order to drive team and portfolio performance
- Cultivate strong working relationships with a range of key partners including the business advisory community, investors and rainmakers in the industry
- Critically analyse business cases, assessing risks and performing gap, sensitivity and scenario analysis
The successful individual will have the following background and experience;
- Significant deal experience within the technology space (TMT, IoT, Medtech/life-sciences, Fintech, SaaS, Robotics, AI, Advanced Manufacturing, etc.)
- Capability to build relationships across all levels internally as well as client and stakeholder management
- Tech entrepreneurs who've built and exited firms would be a profile of interest
- Demonstrable experience of direct team management
