Role -Application Engineer

Mandatory Skills : Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ubuntu Linux Administrator,Red Hat OpenShift clusters

Mode-FTE 6-12 months

Type- Hybrid 3 days from Sheffield

Key Responsibilities

Install configure administer and upgrade Red Hat OpenShift clusters

Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift

Monitor cluster health performance and capacity

Troubleshoot OpenShift platform pod networking and storage issues

Implement security policies RBAC and compliance controls

Support CICD pipelines and application deployments

Work closely with DevOps infrastructure and application teams

Perform patching backups disaster recovery and automation

Ensure platform stability scalability and availability

Maintain platform documentation and SOPs

Mandatory Skills

Strong handson experience with Red Hat OpenShift

Solid knowledge of Kubernetes DockerContainers

Experience with Linux system administration

Understanding of cluster networking ingress routes and services

Experience with YAML Helm and OpenShift templates

Knowledge of RBAC security policies and secrets management

Experience with monitoring and logging tools Prometheus Grafana EFK

Good to Have Desired Skills

Experience with CICD tools Jenkins GitLab Argo CD

Exposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP

Knowledge of DevOps tools Ansible Terraform

Experience with service mesh Istio

OpenShift certifications RHCSA RHCE OpenShift Certified Specialist

Experience in bankingregulated environments
