Program Delivery Manager – Technology & E-Learning

About the Role

We are looking for an organised, client-focused Program Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology and e-learning projects for a major corporate client. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management fundamentals, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital solutions.

Working within a collaborative delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent projects and service streams, from initiation through to successful completion. You’ll act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to take the initiative are essential, as is the ability to work in an agile way, adapting quickly to changing priorities without losing sight of project control. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, day-to-day operational delivery of the account, giving the customer confidence and continuity across everything we deliver for them.

Our clients are data-driven and expect clear, accurate reporting and proactive communication, so you’ll be comfortable using project data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Service Delivery

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of technology and content workstreams, ensuring agreed scope, quality, timescales and budgets are achieved.
  • Work with each function lead to develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and delivery milestones. Identify and manage dependencies and risks between areas.
  • Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams including Learning Designers, Product Development, Platform Consultants and Technology Services.
  • Monitor project progress across functions and take proactive action to resolve issues that could impact delivery.
  • Manage project change requests, ensuring impacts on scope, budget and timelines are understood and agreed, both internally and with the client.
  • Work in an agile way, using initiative and sound judgement to respond to changing priorities and demands while maintaining strong project control.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at an operational level.
  • Lead regular client meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks and next steps.
  • Understand client priorities and work collaboratively to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Manage expectations professionally and confidently throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery and enhance the client experience.

Project Governance & Control

  • Maintain robust project governance across all assigned projects via a single Program Plan.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
  • Identify, track and actively manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies. Proactively escalate risks to Account Director.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support internal governance processes and project reviews.
  • Keep internal project management and budget systems up to date monthly, flagging any anomalies or risks.

Reporting & Management Information

  • Produce accurate, timely project reports, dashboards and management information for both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate information for Netex Governance meetings and client QBRs
  • Analyse project data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure each area can present delivery performance using meaningful metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure project data remains accurate across project management systems.
  • Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and reporting insights.
  • Support the billing process with the client, including gathering and quality checking information from teams and answering client queries.

Collaboration

  • Take overall ownership for the smooth, day-to-day operational delivery of the account, ensuring a consistently positive experience for the customer.
  • Work closely with internal delivery teams to provide ongoing visibility of priorities, risks and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution. Establish an effective communication and reporting channels to enable this.
  • Collaborate with the Account Director to ensure alignment with client strategic priorities and future planning.
  • Contribute to improving project management processes, templates and best practice across the delivery function.

Contractor & Supplier Management

  • Manage contractors, including checking contracts and invoices, managing contractor queries, and coordinating work requests.

About You

You’ll be a proactive Project Manager / Operational Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships while maintaining excellent control of delivery. You’ll be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, communicating with confidence, and using data to support effective decision-making. You’ll bring strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take the initiative, working in an agile way to respond to changing priorities while keeping projects firmly under control and the account running smoothly for the customer. A willingness to travel to client and Netex offices is a must.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience managing technology, digital, software or e-learning projects.
  • Experience working directly with large corporate clients.
  • Strong project planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing project reporting and management information.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools (such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com or similar).
  • Availability for regular travel to client and Netex offices (monthly)

Desirable

  • Experience delivering Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning or technology-enabled learning projects.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Understanding of digital learning development processes and technologies.
  • Spanish speaking.
