Power Platform Business Analyst
Role: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Meriden, Coventry (Fully In-Office)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic technology team and play a key role in enhancing a CRM platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. This role combines strong analytical skills with technical understanding ensuring platform improvements are well-defined and deliver real business value.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers to capture requirements and translate them into clear, structured user stories. This is a delivery-focused position suited to someone who thrives on collaboration, rapid feedback, and working in a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and processes.
- Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows in Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure stories are clear, testable, and technically aligned.
- Provide insight into Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities to guide solution design.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support UAT planning and coordination to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain process documentation and configuration notes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency using Power Automate and integrations.
- Communicate system changes and assist with training or knowledge transfer.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a software delivery environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate).
- Experience with Agile delivery and Azure DevOps for story authoring and sprint management.
- Ability to discuss data models, system configuration, and integration concepts confidently.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical stories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of SQL, data models, or API integrations.
- Experience supporting testing or UAT.
- Awareness of Power BI and basic reporting structures.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines or CI/CD principles.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-900, MB-910, MB-920) are advantageous.
