Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect

Location: Milton Keynes (In-Office Once a Week)

Salary: 45,000 - 56,000

Network IT is recruiting for a Specialist Architect (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to lead architectural strategy and technical delivery within a complex, service-led organisation. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the ability to drive innovation, governance, and scalable solutions across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain architecture standards for marketing automation and related technologies.
• Lead technical decision-making and mentor engineering teams to ensure alignment with frameworks and best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Document and share reference architectures, policies, and standards to support secure and scalable solutions.
• Ensure architectural governance and strategic alignment across teams.
• Support data integration and reuse to enable informed decision-making.
• Act as a trusted advisor across technical and leadership teams.
• Maintain and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud, resolving issues proactively.

Experience Requirements:

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud architect or administrator.
• Strong background in strategic architecture and platform migration.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices.
• Understanding of SaaS within complex architectural landscapes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and patterns.

Desirable:

• Experience with distributed teams and varied technologies.
• Exposure to matrix management and/or line management of technical staff.
